On the 20th - 27th June 2020 the Nature Valley International Tennis returns! The event is held at Devonshire Park on is Eastbourne's oldest park and has hosted Lawn Tennis since the 1870's and has been a venue for the International event since its inception in 1974. With 13 courts and situated in the heart of Eastbourne, the park is only minutes away from the town centre and seafront, making it the ideal summer setting for this international tennis event.

A fantastic free emergency services spectacular on Eastbourne's seafront and Western Lawns right opposite the hotel on the 4th-5th July 2020! Get a close look at emergency response vehicles, get on board a fire engine or ambulance plus much more. Eastbourne Council, Maritime and Coastguard Agency and the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) will all be in attendance, and there will also be representatives from voluntary search and rescue teams, along with contingents from the French National Gendarmerie present.

Eastbourne's award winning triathlon returns again on the 11th July 2020. The athletes will take on a challenging 750m sea swim, 18.3km cycle and 5km run, plus brand new Olympic distance race!
Starting at the lifeguard’s beach and finishing on the Western Lawns.

Eastbourne's Beach Life Festival returns again on the 11th-12th July 2020. One of the biggest FREE extreme sports festivals in the UK! Extreme kicks off the summer holidays with an adventure filled weekend on Eastbourne seafront at the south coast's coolest, fastest and most intense FREE sports festival. Featuring a huge line up of air, land and water based outdoor pursuits. Get involved and get your adrenaline pumping! The event starts 11am each day.

Eastbourne Pride returns on Saturday the 18th July 2020. An incredibly fun day with a colourful procession on Eastbourne seafront organised by Eastbourne's LGBT community.
The event will include music, dancers, drag queens, stalls, wine, beer and prosecco tents at Princes Park.

The biggest seafront airshow in the UK, Airbourne, returns to Eastbourne in 2020 between 13th - 16th August and provides 4 days of action packed flying displays on the seafront. There is a thrilling line up including military fast jets, helicopters, parachutists and incredible displays from aerobatics teams - and its all FREE! We are in a prime position for watching all the action as the main hub of the show is directly opposite the hotel on the Western Lawns.

Eastbourne's Sunshine Carnival returns Sunday 13th September 2020. This year the theme for this free event is 'Colourful Eastbourne'. We expect more than 1,500 walkers along with 25,000 fans and supporters. The Carnival will be outside our hotel, on the Western Lawns, down to Princes Park on the Eastern end of the seafront. There will be live music and entertainment throughout the day.

The Seafront Soapbox Race is a new event in Eastbourne and will take place Sunday 20th September 2020! Come and watch the participants race each other along the seafront in their crazy hand built soapboxes! If you want to race entries cost £25 with a cash prize up for grabs for the fastest soap box and the wackiest creation!
The race will take place on Dukes Drive and finish at Helen Gardens.

Wyntercon returns to Eastbourne on the 26th - 27th September 2020 at it's new base Eastbourne Sports Park.
Wyntercon (CIO) that supports and encourage those from underprivileged backgrounds in the community allowing them to thrive within the creative sector. Come along and see the incredible costumes and join in on the fun!

Once again the free Bonfire Society procession and fireworks return on the 3rd October 2020! There will be a procession along the seafront with a giant bonfire and firework display as the finale.
A torchlit procession starts at 7.30pm from The Crown and Anchor (Royal Parade) and ending at Eastbourne Lifeboat Museum, ending with fireworks at 9.45pm.

The Eastbourne Beachy Head Marathon returns for another year! On the 24th October 2020 one the biggest off-road marathons in the UK will be taking place. Participants will make their way across the beautiful South Downs National Park countryside.
