BRAND NEW RESTAURANT - 1912

Our new restaurant 1912 officially opened on 14^th October! Over the past few months we have transformed our restaurant with a complete refurbishment of the space and the introduction of a brand-new menu, which will be unveiled shortly.

The restaurant has been totally restored with a complete redecoration, new lighting, flooring, furniture and artwork. 1912 is located on the ground floor of the hotel and can be accessed through the hotel or its new street-side entrance. It is a large airy space and offers views over the sea, providing a pleasant backdrop to a meal.

The name 1912 represents the Lansdowne’s fascinating history. The hotel is currently in its 110th year of being owned and run by the same family, now in its 4th generation. It is believed that the Lansdowne is one of only a handful of hotels in the UK that have been owned and run by the same family for over a century.

Highlights on the menu include a surf’n’turf steak or burger, grilled tuna steak, king prawn linguine, plus the signature dish grilled seabass fillet. Diners can also choose from salads, platters, vegan options and a selection of desserts. An extensive wine list is also available.
